TuringHacX is a 36-hour hackathon focused on driving innovation in technology and energy. It brings together 200 participants including programmers, developers, designers, entrepreneurs, students, and tech professionals.
The event aims to incubate solutions for real-world problems by providing an environment for intense collaboration, creativity, and out-of-the-box thinking.
Participants can choose from different theme tracks like clean energy, sustainability, smart cities, space tech, AI, and blockchain. They form teams to develop products related to the themes, leveraging cutting-edge technologies like IoT, VR/AR, and machine learning.
Industry experts, technologists, and academic leaders will mentor the teams and provide guidance. At the end, teams demo their prototypes to a panel of judges. Prizes will be given for innovative projects with practical applications and social impact.
A central goal of TuringHacX is to foster the next generation of technology leaders and innovators. It welcomes people from all backgrounds and experience levels. A series of workshops will teach new skills like design thinking, pitching, and agile development.
The collaborative setting, access to mentors, hands-on building, and competition format makes TuringHacX an engaging learning experience. Participants will walk away with new abilities, insights, connections, and a tangible achievement.
Following the hackathon is a career fair allowing participants to explore job and internship opportunities with attending corporate partners. This enables networking and recruitment.
